My Role
Big Sky Collaborative’s brand development, focusing on creating a cohesive strategy and an impactful digital presence. Your contributions included:
1. Brand Strategy Development:
Defined the organization’s mission, vision, and core values, crafting a brand foundation that authentically reflects its commitment to nonprofit growth and sustainability.
• Identified key audience segments and tailored messaging to address their unique challenges, ensuring alignment with the needs of nonprofit leaders, boards, and development officers.
2. Visual Identity and Branding:
• Guided the creation of a compelling visual identity, selecting a color palette, typography, and logo design that convey professionalism, trust, and approachability.
• Established brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all digital and print materials.
3. Web Planning and Design Strategy:
• Developed the site architecture and user journey to create an intuitive and engaging experience for diverse audiences.
• Selected Webflow as the platform for its scalability and ease of content management, ensuring the site can grow alongside the organization.
• Directed the layout design, emphasizing clarity, functionality, and strategic calls to action that drive engagement.
4. Content Strategy and Alignment:
• Designed a content framework that highlights core services such as fundraising, board enrichment, and annual giving, while clearly communicating Big Sky Collaborative’s value proposition.
• Prioritized storytelling elements to establish credibility and connect with nonprofit audiences on a deeper level.
5. Cross-Team Collaboration:
• Worked closely with Founder, to integrate the brand’s identity seamlessly into the website.
• Ensured that every element—from visuals to navigation—aligned with the strategic goals of the organization.
Project Overview
Positioning Statement:
Antonio Mendez will unify District 10 neighborhoods with visionary planning that will support local businesses and preserve the natural beauty of the district as well as develop innovative solutions around infrastructure to create safer neighborhoods for families.
The campaign's positioning revolved around the idea that Denver of tomorrow needs visionary planning today and called for strategic development in the district that will provide added support for local businesses, preservation of natural beauty and resources as well as providing compassionate support to those experiencing homelessness.
Brand Promise:
We will work together to create a sustainable plan to improve our infrastructure, address the opioid epidemic and those it affects, as well as develop innovative solutions around traffic congestion relief to create safer recreational infrastructure and improved transportation.
